It is such a blessing to be able to photograph families and the special relationships that they share.  It is the highlight of being a photographer!  This past Saturday, I was able to capture some sweet moments of a very beautiful family.  Life is so precious.  Hug those you love tightier and take a moment to slow down to enjoy what really matters most in life...FAMILY!

A Not so Perfect Mother's Day Portrait

If you didn't get to read my quick post on Facebook, here are some images of me and my kids.  I wanted a nice portrait of me with the kiddos.  Let's just say they were being a little crazy.  The first two are what really a mother's life seems to feel like most of the time even if it is not what most people see.  I think this is what motherhood really is about the not so perfect moments when life is crazy and not in order...

Well, now you understand why I didn't post these on facebook!  Here's to the reason I wake up every morning...
