Another day in Pottstown takes us to the Pottstown Mercury and other businesses to bring awareness to Breast Cancer and Pottstown itself. We have partnered up with the Strasburg Children's Store in the King of Prussia Mall (located between Pandora and Coach, near Bloomingdale's) to portray my photography work in their store. We were so grateful to work with some beautiful children to capture the images that we would have on display. Here are a couple snap shots of the displays so far. We will be producing three more wall portraits that will be hung in the store within the next month or so. If you are ever shopping in the mall, check it out.

We are excited about being a part of the beautiful clothing store called Strasburg in the King of Prussia mall. We will be their exclusive photography studio and starting tomorrow, you can visit the store and browse our artwork displayed on their walls. A special "thank you" to all our fantastic models!! More portraits will be hung in the near future.
Tomorrow night the King of Prussia Mall will be celebrating Fashion's Night Out. I will be there giving away $100 gift certificates to all those that purchase anything in the store that night from 7 until 10pm. Stop by to say "hi", shop and/or come and ask me any questions regarding our one-of-a-kind portrait studio.

Finally our much anticipated baby girl is here. She made her debut on Thursday, July 9th at 4:22pm in Pottstown. Here is a sneak peek of our little angel, Savannah. I am sure there will be more to come...

I have spent the last couple of weeks giving my website a face lift. It is finally finished and I wanted to let you know about it so that you can check it out if you haven't had the opportunity yet. I will be adding some slide shows for each of our children's sets in the weeks to come. Look for a post in the near future when they are posted online.

In case you haven't heard the rumor, we are having another addition to our family. We are super excited. Yesterday, I went for my ultrasound. My five year old son, Joseph, said he didn't want another brother. He said it had to be a sister. Well, we found out that we will be having a little GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!! We wouldn't want to disappoint Joseph. Here is the first portrait taken of our little princess...
Here is a profile shot with head on the right and feet on the left in case you can't understand what the picture is. Funny how the tech says, now here is the head, the legs, and such. I feel like I am sitting on the grass with my boys and trying to see what they see in the clouds. Always an adventure.

Hello I though I would introduce myself. I have lived in Pottstown for a few years. I have 2 little boys, Parley who is 4 and Hiatt who is 1. They love to play together and their laughter is contagious. It is fun to watch their excitement as their world unfolds before them. We love to be outdoors and spending time together. My husband, Rory is a chemist who works with formulas and numbers. I have had the opportunity to start working with Melia and have been impressed with her work and ability to work with such a wide range of clients. She is able to take picture that capture personality. I will be working more with her blog so you will be hearing from me a little more often.

During October, photographers from across the country are joining together with PPA Charities (the philanthropic arm of Professional Photographers of America) in promoting “Family Portrait Month.” This national fundraising effort will benefit Operation Smile, which treats children around the world who suffer with cleft lips, cleft palates and other facial deformities.
Founded in 1982, Operation Smile is a worldwide children’s medical charity dedicated to helping children and young adults born with facial deformities. In as little as 45 minutes, one cleft lip surgery can change a child’s life forever. Each year, more than 100,000 children are born with a facial deformity in Operation Smile’s 26 partner countries. Tens of thousands remain untreated.
“Recording the faces of children and their families is what photographers do,” says Mary Fisk-Taylor, who serves as president of the PPA Charities Board of Trustees, and who was instrumental in developing the Family Portrait Month promotion. “It’s hard to imagine a more appropriate charity for our members to support. And when parents participate in Family Portrait Month, it’s a wonderful way to teach children the value of reaching out to others. Even small children can understand the importance of Operation Smile’s work, and they are eager to help these needy children.”
